Seventeen Walter Reed Middle School students in Los Angeles were treated for an unknown drug on Thursday, Oct. 17, the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Unified School District confirm with PEOPLE. One parent tells PEOPLE that the school “closed down a portion of the school and declared it a crime scene.”
