In an address from the White House on Sunday afternoon, President Joe Biden spoke about yesterday’s assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump and cautioned Americans against making “assumptions about [the shooter’s] motives or his affiliations.”

“Nothing is more important than unity right now,” Biden said while condemning the shooting.

Halevi, while delivering the situational assessment, commented on the strike that killed Rafa’a Salameh, commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade, which was confirmed earlier on Sunday.

President Biden on Sunday again condemned the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, noting he had spoken with Trump on the phone and that the White House did not have any information yet on the motive of the shooter.
