Trinity Tondeleir and Brody Hawkins went viral in 2023 for not being engaged yet after 10 years of dating. They split the next year, partly because Hawkins joked that Tondeleir would have to buy her own engagement ring. ‘I’d laugh it off, but I knew it was a bigger problem that had to be addressed,’ Tondeleir says.
