The Walt Disney Company on Nov. 27 debuted a new short film titled “The Last Verse” and revealed that the late songwriter Richard Sherman penned new lyrics for the iconic song “It’s a Small World” that he shared with Disney CEO Bob Iger in 2023. Sherman died at 95 in May 2024.
