Jodie Foster won the award for best female actor in a limited or anthology series at the 2025 Golden Globes for her role in True Detective: Night Country. While accepting the honor, Foster, who beat out Cate Blanchett, Cristin Milioti, Sofía Vergara, Naomi Watts and Kate Winslet, thanked her wife and kids.
