Maggie Smith, who starred in more than 80 films and TV shows, died on Sept. 27, 2024 at the age of 89. Though known by many for her role as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter films, she had dozens of unmissable roles from sexy ’60s films like The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie to killer ’90s comedies like The First Wives Club and Sister Act.
