MLB legend Pete Rose died from hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, the Clark County Coroner’s Office in Nevada said Tuesday.
Rose, MLB’s all-time hits leader and three-time World Series champion, died on Monday at the age of 83. The coroner’s office confirmed his death to Fox News.

Rose’s death was determined to be natural, officials said. He also was battling diabetes mellitus.
