Shari Franke is telling her story in her memoir ‘The House of My Mother: A Daughter’s Quest for Freedom,’ out Jan. 7. Shari’s mother Ruby, and therapist Jodi Hilderbrant, were arrested for aggravated child abuse in 2023, and were given four consecutive prison sentences of one to 15 years in Feb. 2024.
